Life was hard before Happy House, by Baraka, 12.

My name is Baraka Paul.
I am 12 years old. I have been at Happy House school for one and a half month. I am in class six at Happy House primary school.
Before I came here life was hard for me. I used to live in an orphanage but the people in the orphanage would treat us badly and the orphanage was shut down.
I never knew who to rely on because my mother who is blind couldn't work to support us.
Six weeks ago, I was brought to  to do an interview and I was taken in as a scholarship pupil.
Here life is enthusiastic. The teachers have been teaching me well.
I have been improving in my subjects day after day. My mother is always happy whenever I tell her howI have been improving.
I have been thanking and thanking God for bringing me to Happy House
