Just hanging out ...

Many hands make light work and hanging out the washing is no chore to our kids.
Even the little ones like to get in on the act, everyone skipping and singing , as they work.
And as they are pegging out the laundry,  big brothers Evans and Hassan appear with a whole tribe of toddlers.
Mama likes her kids to have the freedom to explore and there is always someone to keep an eye out on them as they discover the world around them.
Again they are singing (it is the happiest sound!) and leave no-one in any doubt that the Wheels on the Bus go round and round ..
At the Happy House you hardly ever hear a child crying and I have never, in all my visits, heard anyone complain of being bored.
They have an environment where they are encouraged to be active, to play and to learn, to help and to explore.  Healthy, vibrant. lively children seizing every opportunity life presents to them.
How different they are now from the hopeless, sad and frightened children they were when they came to us... and how fortunate we are to be able to help Mama Sue, in whatever small way, to make such a difference to their young lives.
